In the Tavira area, Quinta da Cima is the second of the two on-site courses. Opened just a short while after its counterpart Quinta da Ria, this golf course is further inland than Quinta da Ria and is also longer and more difficult. It winds its way across parkland and has many many carob, olive and cork trees artificially planted in very clever yet precarious positions so as to make the best use of the terrain. Rocky Roquemore's experience here certainly shows and has a gem of golf course a stones throw from Tavira - the next jewel in Portugal's crown.
